Hello, I´m looking for a 12V high capacity battery for use it to power diferent electronic devices. They are not electric vehicles, but I´m looking here because usually handle high capacities at reasonable prices.

This ones 444Wh and 222WH respectively. I guess how they could perform, because a lot of cells seem to be used inside that to can get such capacity with sigle cells, so I doubt about their durability.

In the middle of the web there are 12V models, LP20ah, LP40ah. Price 61euro and 122 euro. That´s much cheaper $/Wh than the battery packs above mentioned. what do you think about? Any reference to this batteries? Other sellers?
I have been thinking about building my own level led indicator like the smart battery packs to know the charge remaining, and using a 12V regulator to get a flat 12V from the battery.

It´s an audio interface that requires 12V and 2A consumption. So could get 10 horus with a 20ah. But probably I should supply another device that requires also 12V 0.5A.
sorry for this "offtopic" usage of the batteries but I think is the best place where I can get info for my purpose, since there is not much more options out there.
PD: I don´t want SLA since it´s too weighted.

I think you are on the right track.
I found out that most of my computers and PDA use 16 to 19 volt input and didn't want to use a 12 volt to 19 volt Converter. So I used 5 Yellow Thunder Sky Cells in series to power a lot of my electronic devices at libraries or cafe' shops. It seems to have cycle life and just like you mentioned it does need a LED to monitor battery life. I use a cheap Harbor Freight DMM every hour or so. It is rather bulky to use 20 AH TS cells but with a back pack it is light. Some of the brand names of computers I use on that 19.2 volt arrangement are Toshiba, HP, IBM think pad 600, HP mini101, HP ZD8000, and HP 450 printer.
