I've had my 36V evg bike for several months with no problem until today when I installed a fully charged battery pack in the bike when the power switch was turned on. When I went to take it for a ride it went nowhere. It still gets power, all the lights are working etc. It just doesn't seem to send any power to the drive motor. Did I blow some kind if fuse or something......Please help.

How old is the new 36 volt battery pack? Is there a date code on batteries? Can you individually load test each 12 volt battery with a 50 Watt RV lamp or any 50 Watt auto head light? Each battery should be bright with a good load on it. The lights on the scooter are powered via a DC-DC converter and doesn't pose a heavy load on battery
but when the motor is energized it loads battery pack and seem to load pack voltage down enough not to move scooter. A fully charged battery pack should be holding around 39 volts or more just after charge. More like 41 volts. When you turn on light drop slowly to 38 or 39 then when motor is powering scooter still be around 35 volt or so. If it drops to 30 volt in a few seconds the battery pack is dead.

Thank You so much for your help. But it seems I have solved the issue myself. After my last post I coninued to fiddle with the bike as the problem just did not compute with me. It turned out that one of my sons must have knocked the bike over causing the little plastic brakelight sensor to break away and move just slightly on the brake lever, making the bike think I was applying the brakes and therefore the motor would not engauge. These sensors seem to be very sensitive, and with mine broken just slightly at the screw attachment point I can see this causing me problems in the future. Ebay shows an OEM brake lever for $20.00 that shows a photo of the sensor and connection wire so at this point I'll assume It's included, so If I must I will go that route.
