I contacted a person and received the following answer to one of my questions (refering to CA):
" VINs and the MSO are not yet available and is one of the reasons for the low
prices. X-Treme is working on that and will send them to all customers once the
paperwork becomes available. Once the VIN/MSO issues are resolved, X-Treme
plans to increase prices to their original MSRP ($1999). Basically you'd be
saving money in exchange for having to wait for the VIN and MSO information."
This would mean that I can buy the scooter but have to keep it my garage
let's say for next couple of weeks or even longer (?).
Do I really need a motorcycle license to operate the scooter in CA ?
Comments? Thanks!
The California Motorcycle Handbook explains the requirements.
