EBIKE EV GLOBAL BIKE NEED PARTS , LOVE,Brains

I have a 24 Volt model EBIKE made by Lee EV Global. It does not run. Seems controller is shot? No lights, horn, battery gadge.... Can I make it 36 Volts ? or 48,72 ? etc ? Since I seem to need to replace everything except 400 watt Hiensman hub engine what can I do ? where can I get a parts kit ? I see some generic controlers on EBAY which one ?...anyone do this > Engine works and battery is good just want to get running. Bike is in good shape except electronics.

Thanks

I have a Merida e-bike which was 24 VDC and I modified it to 36 VDC. The 2 bikes are similar enough you should be able to adapt what I did to your bike. Here is my modification instructions. Some of the parts I used are no longer available but if you look you can find replacements. If you wish to try this I would be happy to answer questions to help you get the job done.

I have this model too, the 24v. I put another sla on the rear for 36v and it ran fine for a while but then it blew the controller. so I stripped out all the electronics and put in a crystalyte 36-48v 25amp brush controller from poweridestore. I put it where the old controller used to be. And new thumb throttle.

after I got the new controller i upped it to 48v - all nimh batteries. motor handles it fine its like a whole new experience. if you are gonna stick to 24v you will have to find a controller for that voltage, the crystalye has a cut-off of 31v and so do the 36v ones on ebay, it is not a common voltage these days.
for 24v try this: http://www.tresterra.com/EVG.html

I have a 24-volt eBike that does not run. It was a gift from a person who did not use it any more, who told us it didnt run. The ignition switch spins completely around, and also the key springs back out sometimes. The person who gave it to us said there was something wrong with the battery. Anything you can tell me on how to fix this? Also is the controller switch where the throttle and ignition switch is? Another thing, cn anyone give me instructions on how to convert from 24 volt to 36 volt? Thanks.
