120V 10KW 13" hub motor for motor/scooter

How does you or any one else buy from Alibaba? I am signed up for emails from them for battery chargers and wheel motors but trying to get price quotes and availability is next to impossible. Sure would be nice to have some over head in power with a 10 KW motor. I just did a 21 mile trip on my XM-3000 and motor was hot. Maybe not as hot as VX-1 but that is a bigger scooter with larger motor.

If you want to get all that power through one motor you better increase the size of those phase wires in that picture. If you ran that motor at 10kw at that voltage with that wiring I can tell you it will last for about 20 seconds. That insualtion on the phase wires will get so hot it will melt then the hall wires will be fused with the phase wires and it will stop working. The overall design of the hub motor axles is going to have to be changed to accomodate for larger wiring. Dual motors work nicely, but you would still need to increase the size and quality of the phase wires.

Is it possible to do this:

Attach a sprocket to the 5kW wheel and install it into a motorbike or scooter.

Then it might be possible to have a hybrid EV conversion motorbike. Batteries could go on the passenger seats and in saddle-bags. Very few batteries would be needed because there would be no range problem with the ICE still present.
