Hi Folks,
This is my 1st attempt at posting anything on any website. My question is on a V-Power battery, rated 36v 30ah.
I can't seem to get more than about 9 or 10ah in or out of this thing according to my meter. It charged to 45+ volts then shut off, reading 9.8ah. Discharge was about the same. The max amps I pulled was 51+, I think the voltage sag was down to about 35v. Am I expecting to much? Is E-Tek motor too big? Or do I have a lemon battery?
Thanks,

hiya,
do you have a alternative 36v load to test with?
try testing at 30A, or 15A.
If the Ah is still the same, its the batteries fault.
if the Ah is close to rated at lower current, its the BMS fault.
35v on a 36v nominal lithium battery at 1C indicates theres still a fair bit of charge left.

Thanks Matt,
I tried running the motor at about 3-4 amp draw. Same thing- battery cut out at 9.8ah according to doc wattson. Since I don't read chinese I'm not sure what the max
charge or discharge voltages should be. Any thoughts? Are pings better batteries than V-Power?
Thanks
