Two TTXGP races this weekend

Hey, the TTXGP crowd is busy this weekend with two races. One is near Toronto at the Mosport race track, the other in the UK at IIRC Snetterton.

I'm going to the Mosport race and will be doing news coverage etc from there.

Re: Two TTXGP races this weekend

I'm writing an article right now.

There are 5 teams here - the weather is great, though yesterday was a downpour. The forecast is for clear weather both today and tomorrow, though I'm seeing scattered clouds at the track right now.

Unless a miracle happens the results will be #80 Lightning Motors, and #37 Team Electra. The Agni #22 bike simply isn't here this weekend.

More questions ...

How many Laps for the Electric Bikes?
And How many rounds this season? (total)
Any more in Canada?
Agni, Zero Motorcycles could be preparing for another event not to be showing up?
Glad to see the results here rightaway.

Re: Two TTXGP races this weekend

The actual race will be 10 (?11?) laps on a track that's 2.x miles around. They're shooting for 20ish miles total.

All the info about season etc is on egrandprix.com - there are 4 races in north america, 4 in the UK, 4 in Italy and a grand finale in Spain. No more in Canada, the remaining north america race is in Virginia.

Zero said at Infineon they only wanted to do the one race. Agni owns the #22 bike and is operating it in the US for the north america series. Agni has two more bikes racing in the UK.

Agni didn't show at this race because of a transport malfunction - and that's the official word and is the entirety of the story I was told.
