Hi,
by the way,
I feel lucky with my minor "bugs" until now :)
I had my fuse swapped earlier, along with its "maintainance".
Since then (it occured to me only today) my V does not save the last trips any more.
eg: I got my V back with about 4100 km on it. I drove a few 100 kms since then, and the odometer is still at 4107 something km..
also the last trip resets to 9,5 km each time I start the bike.
I will most certainly contact my dealer, this must be resolved. (I want to know how much gas I saved :-))
But any thoughts/ideas?
Anyone seen similar behaviour?

Have you ever experienced a computer freeze with windows? The only way to bring it back to live again is doing a restart.. I guess your bug's problem is something like a frozen process. A hard reset may solve this issue, but the vectrix computer is always running, I'm afraid the only way to reset it is by disconnecting the main computer from the battery... like your previous fuse swap did...
any more ideas?
Firmware reload might do the trick, less risk than disconnecting power I guess
Once you go EV, Gas is history!
Certainly... a FW reload may reset de computer also...
Bad luck,
My dealer reloaded the firmware, but the problem stays, I'm still at "4106 kms".
He will contact Vectrix to see what to try next, and let me know.
If I get no certainty, I'll probably have the battery disconnected.
will keep you informed.

I guess they couldn't figure it out:
A new instrument panel is on its way.
I also guess I'll be back at 00000km (I hope not)
And I hope I'll also get the new 68MPH feature along with it :-)

Hi all,
They've replaced my instument panel, I'm back at 00000 km :-(
but the problem is solved!
Picked it up yesterday, did about 50 km city roads in one go (very carefully, I had to do the distance), and the estimated range left was still a whopping 42 kms!(8 bars left!)
I'm still a very happy Vectrix owner!

Hi, they should be able to set the clock to the done KM´s of your Bike!?
Be carefull with the est-range. Manny people in this and other forums
belive it´s the range you have left before the pack is empty, but it´s
more like the total range of your Bike with a fully loaded battery.
So if it shows est range = 50 km and you´ve done 40 already, there should
be 10-15 km left if you don´t change your average drivingstyle.
Greetings Mike
Yes, indeed! Some thoughts....
This is how it should be: A minor, insignificant and uncritical problem after thousands of km of riding; and then you contact your dealer and they fix it..... nice....!
But nevertheless, never ever believe the "remaining range" indicated by your Vectrix, unless it just confirms what you have figured out yourself!
This information may be used entirely at your own risk.
There is always a way if there is no other way!
hi guys,
of course, I'm aware of the doubtful estimated range, and I understand it to a point where I can relatively trust it.
If I drive "my style", I usually get 45 km out of it, and my bike seems to know that quite well (predicts the est. range relatively correct).
But when I drive more conservatively, the range goes up, of course under the condition that I continue driving like that.
but in this case: 8 bars left indicates a lot to me, because the red battery telltale light NEVER came up before 0 to 2 bars until now!
What I didn't account for, is the new dashboard (if it has anything to do with predicting the range??).
