I just wodering if everybody that has converted their BL-36 to run on 48 volts ended up with a fried controller? I just purchased the kit (haven't got it yet) and after some reading was thinking about the extra battery, but after reading about a few fried controllers was wondering if i should even take the chance? I'm not rich but maybe could afford another battery, but I not a bunch of new controllers. Any "real world" advice would be helpfull thanks.

Sorry about the bad spelling, was trying to do two things at once.
You may not connect a 48V battery to a 36V controller if this controller is not ment for 48V.
So if the controller max is 36V then somtehing will smoke as soon when the motor draws power.
Wilderness Energy gives not enough information on their Chinese controllers.
