Best comebacks competition... ;-)

OK - please take this in the good humor it's intended.

There seems to be a lot of "your bike's sh***te and my bike's da f***'n bomb" type sentiment flying between at least a couple of camps here. Excuse the language but that's really about the level it boils down to at the end of the day.

So, I propose holding a "best comeback" competition - as introduced by this pointless thread (hey, maybe someone out there other than me will find it funny?).

The rules - post a good comeback designed to po the recipient of a specific bike. You get extra points if you dis your own bike (let's show a little humility here folks). All are encouraged to enter - get it out your system on this thread - and then lets get back to useful comparisons on the rest of the board.

Here's my initial entries:

"Hey, XM owner, did you have to buy your own glue to put the pieces back together"

"Hey, Z20 owner, oh hang on a sec, there actually aren't any actual owners..."

"Hey, Z20 owner, which is rarer your bike or the Loch Ness Monster?"

Come one, come all - vent, wisecrack, be stupid... }:)

The winner will be judged by the amount of hate mail received? (sheesh - just kidding!)

Nice Ice Breaker, I'll stay out of it I'm not qualified since I own a Luyuan. You XM-2000/E-Runner 220 riders are a rough group to tangle with, there may not be any takers.

Now c'mon don't be shy - you know there's something you want to say about the XM or the EVT or the Luyuan ...

I don't own a scooter/moped but I test drove/rode an e-max 2000 watt Sport scooter. If that is what you all are thinking of for performance then no wonder you have your shorts too tight. That thing was so weak I couldn't even run down a pedestrian.

Yeah, but that thing you ride looks like my kid's tricycle... When are you gonna get rid of your training wheels?

I'm game, but in all fairness I'll aim at myself.

"Hey Emax guy. I bet when they said the bike came with support you didn't know that they were referring to the kickstand."

Re: Best comebacks competition... ;-)

Thanks for providing a place to vent about the stupid things these manufacturers sometimes do!

What was the manufacturer of the MB-1-E thinking when they:

1 ) Used a hardtail frame instead of a nice frame with front and rear suspension.
2 ) Came out with a first version which had a controller that fried on the first steep hill climbed.
3 ) Obviously couldn't decide where to place the batteries until the latest version.
4 ) Used a V-belt and pulleys on an earlier version.
5 ) Made a bike that weighs over 100 lbs.
6 ) Used cheap tires that are already wearing out.
7 ) Made chain adjustment screws that would bend when going over rough terrain.
8 ) Still don't have lights or a belt guard installed.
9 ) Didn't make a plate to distribute the load for the double kickstand
and, so far, fixed the problem by removing the kickstand altogether.
10)Don't have a sticker that advises wearing a helmet.

Lets hope that this manufacturer has wised up and has, or is, dealing with all of the above.
Latest reports indicate that some of the deficiencies have been upgraded on the latest model.
but they still have a way to go ... what the heck were they thinking?! :?

:D ROFL

That's one great thing that I can say about the manufacturer of the MB-1-E ... They used "Gorilla Tape" instead of regular Duct Tape. 8)

MB-1E,

What's you're bike doing laying on the lawn. MB-1E, "I took the kick stand off Principal chuck". "Well MB-1E, go home, put some training wheels on it, and when you're suspension is over, you can park you're bike just like everyone else around here, STANDING UP!"

IT was the size of a very small rat terrier, about 14 pounds, very skinny, almost sickly looking, it had no hair and a tail about 18 inches to 24 inches long that looked like a rats tail.

There did not appear to be any hair anywhere on this thing and I had him lit up good and was real close and he was in the open. There also did not appear to be any festering sores or wounds. He moved pretty slow and wobbly, in a motion almost like those Texas armadillo. Real clumsy.

His head was the weirdest thing, it looked like the head of a baby deer, and unlike a dog or a fox, both of which we have a lot of and I have seen up close, it did not act like a dog, or pant and I never saw it open its mouth. He did not act scared, or mean, just bored.

Most people in Texas call that a possum, where I'm from they call it a possum. When I squirrel hunt in Louisiana they call it a possum. When deer hunting up in Arkansas they call it a possum.

Even Wiki calls it a possum... Didelphimorphia is the order of common opossums of the Western Hemisphere. ... Colloquially, the Virginia opossum is frequently called simply possum
