Sidecar on a Zapino?

I am thinking about putting a sidecar on my Zapino, so I can bring my dog to work. I realize it will drastically reduce my speed and range, but I only work 5 miles from home, and can get by at 25 - 30 mph.

So what do you think? Is it even possible? Any ideas where to find a light weight sidecar?

I would love to hear any suggestions and ideas for how to pull this off.

Thanks,

Dan

For your dog??
Come on, Instead of a sidecar, why don't you try one of these?

It is efficient, easy to install, and you use it at your wish on your bicycle, your motorbike etc. :-)

Yeah, I thought about a trailer too, but I have a 70lb dog. I'm also not sure how a trailer will do at 30mph. I'm going to strip the panels off my scooter this weekend, and see if the frame will even work with a sidecar. I did find a used Velorex for sale and downloaded the installation instructions. Looks straight forward enough as long as the frame shapes up OK. I'll have to cut some holes in the panels, but I'm down with that.

Thanks for the input. I may still try the trailer idea if the sidecar is not feasible.

Uauhhh A sidecar in one electric scooter like yours, that sounds brave, please post your photos when you have.

Good luck.
