Not as weird as we may think, Mik. The very different dynamics and cultural expectations of the increasingly burgeoning market of the PRC, will inevitably produce vehicles and designs very unique to that market.
In the same way that in late fifties/early sixties, US car design went through the tail-fin fad , so too will different fads of the PRC design become more adventurous and representative of domestic cultural aspects.
