XM-5000li has a undocumented switch in the charge plug access area

I was charging my 500-li the other day and found a red switch on a single pair of wires next to the main charge plug. The bike appears to function completely no matter what position the switch is in.

Anybody have any idea what this toggle switch is for?

Found out what it is. Standard Xtreme scooters have the "valet mode" or low speed setting on the throttle. Mine doesn't have that. I assume because it was a floor model, they wanted the ability to govern/limit the speed of the bike for test drives and not have the user be able to easily change it.

If the switch is on, I only get 30 MPH. If the switch is off, I get over 60 MPH.

Guess what switch I am never going to use again is? [grins]
