Using Currie 24V/30A 6 Pin Controller in Ride On Train

My Schwinn 200 series scooter was badly damaged recently. I have removed all the parts and would like to use the controller in my Ride on train (7 1/2 gauge) locomotive. I have been looking for a wiring diagram on the Currie 24v 30 a controller. It has a 6 pin input from the hand throttle which was totally smashed. Does anyone know the use of the Black, Blue, Violet, Green, Yellow and White wires. I suspect some are for the charge indication and others for the speed control...but which ones. Also...is the controller a single direction operation or is there a way to power the motor in forward and reverse.

Thanks for the help.
