I feel really silly... I'm the kind that usually takes pictures before disassembling anything but this time I didn't. I was changing a flat on my XB-600 and can't seem to figure out how to get the wheel back on... what order things go in, where the various pieces fit. Can't seem to get it to make sense. Could I talk someone into taking a nice close shot of your fully- assembled rear hub, showing all the pieces in place? I would be forever grateful.

can you help me. my xb600 locks up when i tighten the nuts on the back wheel. am i missing some washers on the left side where the brake system is. I cant imagin this being complicated but i am managing to make it so Thanks

Well, the washer / locknut sequence is about the same on the brake side as the illustrated sprocket side. I'm afraid I don't want to remove my wheel to satisfy your need, though I promise I'll make a record of the parts the next time it's off.
I'd suggest you look carefully at the parts. I would be VERY surprised if there were something missing, but parts could be in the wrong sequence or the wrong orientation. Something may also be damaged; look carefully at the shaft and the flats of the washers.

thanks for your quick reply there has to be more to it then i am seeing. The fork seems to be pulled together when i tighten the nuts. its almost like there should be spacers in line to keep the wheel in alighment. The brake system seems off center and the wheel stops binding when i loosen the lock nuts. i am new in this forum and dont know how to ask everyone on this site for help. Does my request go only to you or can anybody see my request. Being new at this i dont really know how to get around to well. Thanks for your patience

hello again i just notices the bushing on the brake housing must be worn as well as the shaft. Thats why the housing sweems to bind when tightning the lock nuts. i dont see how i can replace the bushing so it looks like a new brake housing is in order.even so the axle is also worn and maby a new wheel is in order. It seems to me they should have designed this system better. Now i have a scooter that is basicly junk unless i buy a new rear axle and wheel at greenmax distributers inflated parts prices. I would think a bike only 2 yrs old would last longer then this.im having second thoughts about how good a deal this bikes great purchase price now that i see how exspensive parts for it are.I certainly will take this in consideration before i buy another. Hope im alone with this problim.

If someone has a similar scoot, they may be able to figure out what's in need of refurbishment.
You might lay out the left side parts in order to see what is worn. Basically, those bushings should not be moving against anything, so there should be no wear. They are in place only to match the width of the wheel / brake assy to the width of the rear swing arm.
My XB600 is also two years old, and there is NO wear on the bushings in the rear wheel axle area.
