Hi Everyone! I wanted to share with you all information about a new all electric

First off let me say that I have looked over this entire website and a lot of the posts here and I have to say I think this community of people all interested in energy conservation, and clean environment vehicles is very cool.

With that said I thought this would be a good place to share with all of you about a new vehicle made by a company called “Wheego” and how you can take a look at one if you’re interested and in the state of Oregon.

For those of you that are interested in technical specification’s this is a breakdown of the vehicle itself.

Now for those of you that are visual like me :) here are some pictures for you of the actual vehicle it’s self.

So the vehicle itself is very nice, it takes about 5 hours to charge up and it will do about 100 miles per charge. The best part obviously is that it uses no gas! There are not many of these running around at the moment and only 1 in the entire state of Oregon at the moment. If you are interested and would like to take a look at it and drive it please do!

The place that you can see and drive this vehicle is O'Brien Auto Group in Salem, Oregon.

Warm regards,

Looks like part of the technical Specifications was cut off. To see the other half of the spec's here is the link for you.

Looks and sounds a lot like a ZENN (Zero Emissions No Noise) car, that was manufactured in Quebec, Canada until about last year. They were around for a few years before, but they only were only able to get safety certified in Quebec and British Columbia provinces. Because the then, and still, Conservative government (spits over shoulder) refused federal safety certificates, despite the fact that independent testers had already cleared it. They now make electric parts for larger companies’ hybrids.
If its sale had been permitted it probably would have flooded the market as fast as the single assembly line in a warehouse was capable of. Despite being a very small company and dealing with expensive materials, they were able to keep the price of each unit to about $15,000-$20,000. It was capable of carrying 2 people (one driver, one passenger), and I’m not sure if an extra 2 ½ seat could have been fit in the van like back instead of storage. As for capability, the spot on television I saw it on was able to fit 12 (I think) 24 pack boxes of glass bottled beer in the back and have the vehicle still perform visibly unhindered. The perfect commuter and town vehicle.
