I have a 2007 VECTRIC silver VIN #SZCAASRU6SAA00720 for sale. Throttle error came up and then the bike die. I can not get the bike started anymore. Basically, when I turn the key to start, the odometer meter will turn right just like a regular start up phase but then once the meter goes right and then comes back to zero, the "Ready" sign does not come up and this prevents me from being able to right click my brake handle to active "GO". Besides this mechanical failure, the bike runs perfectly. New software update done last year which allows the bike to go up to 72MPH. Right side body had scratches. Selling this scooter for parts. Must come and pick up the bike with a flat bed or equivalent. Need at least two people to do this, three is best. I can help as well. email me if interested at steven [at] stevenlam.com or call me at 323.350.0808 and leave a msg. I also have a customize CA license plate ELCTR3K.

Hey, you give up too easily!
You might well be able to get it going again.

Hi Mik, thanks for the encouragement but I am not very mechanically incline like the others here in the forum. I am in Los Angeles and don't know of anyone that can help me with this.

The owners manual states that this is probably because of the interlocks not being correct.
Interlocks
CUT-OFF SWITCH
The cut-off switch needs to be in the “on” (run)
position.
SIDE STAND SWITCH
Make sure the side stand is in the upright position.
CENTER STAND (OPTIONAL )
Make sure the center stand is in the upright
“READY” INDICATION
When you turn your key to the “System On” position,
you will see the “Ready” icon in the left Liquid Crystal
Display (LCD), provided all of the interlocks are
satisfied. The “Ready” icon means that the system
is ready to be enabled
I'd be looking at these switches, or take it to an auto electrician to have a look.
Hi,
Oh my god, this is the easiest problem you can solve in a vectrix!!
The throttle is out of sync. Just regulate it to 42 km/h, and the ready will turn on again.
To check if the throttle is correctly sync, turn the bike on, TURN OFF the red button (the kill switch), and then press left brake lever constantly. The nail of the odometer should move and point to 42 km/h. Twist the throttle back and forward while pressing the brake lever, and check that the nail limits are inside the odometer: 0-120 km/h.
To regulate the throttle, check out the repairing procedures. If you don't know where they are, send me a PM.
Hope It helps.
