Rear Wheel Rim

Hello All,

I drop a couple of PSI aday from the rear tyre. The rim is slightly buckled and the local motorcycle tyre guy has tried several times to tidy it up but failed and suggested getting a new rim.

I am in the UK. The question is where from?

I presume the rim is on other vehicles, does anyone know an equivilent? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

It a 2007 VX 1.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Rear Wheel Rim

With the rear-hub motor, the rim is quite unique - isn't it? There were some recent posts on 'V' from a European Vectrix rep - including an email address and phone number - have you tried contacting them?

I have bought some stuff from this website, it is reliable. I can do some translation if you have any difficulties.

Re: Rear Wheel Rim

I had a recent pothole incident, and required a replacement rim after the repairer declined a fix, saying it would be too weak to guarantee a successful repair, and to purchase a replacement. EFS (Emission Free Solutions) in the UK. The replacement rim was delivered within a week, and I was told there was no issues with spares.
