Re: crystalye motor
It's not neccesarily the motor that determines the "speed"..
A lot has to do with the controller amperage rating and battery voltage..
What do you consider "fast"?
How far do you want to go at that speed?
Etc etc
Re: crystalye motor
I HAVE BEEN READING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLES PROJECTS, AND THEY SAY THAT THEY ARE GETTING 40-50MPH WITH I WOULD CONSIDER FAST. I AM NOT TO CONCERNED ABOUT LONG DISTANCES.
SO YOU ARE SAYING THAT THE HIGHER THE VOLTAGE AND AMP THE MORE POWER I WILL GET?
WHAT SETUP AND COMPONENTS DO TOU THINK I NEED FOR THE BEST RESULTS.
THANKS RICH
Re: crystalye motor
That's like asking..
"I want a car, which one should I buy?"... Heh
It depends on what you're looking for...
What speed would you like to achieve as normal cruising speed?
How far would you like to go befor having to recharge?
How much are you looking to spend?
How mechanically and electrically adept are you?
You can spend anywhere from $350 for a 10mph speed and 10 miles distance (Think Hyundai) to $1,000's of dollars for 40mph for 30miles. (Think Ferrari).
All depends on what you're looking for?
