3.8 kWh Drop - in LiFePO4 Battery Solution fur VECTRIX Owners?

the dimensions of the battery box are:

230mm wide x 330mm tall x 700mm long

You need a minimum of 40 cells in series for the MC to work properly
A minimum of 42 cells for the charger to not normally require BMS terminated charging

fitting lotsa batteries in that box has as much to do with shape as physical size.

The Pack I am referring to measures 191mm wide, 145mm height, and 814mm long (64) P-18 Cells. Total Spec. 52.8V / 72Ah ( 3.8 kWh).

The Pack I am referring to measures 191mm wide, 145mm height, and 814mm long (64) P-18 Cells. Total Spec. 52.8V / 72Ah ( 3.8 kWh).

That pack is no good for a Vectrix, you need at least a nominal 128V LiFePO4 pack (40 cells)

even two of them wouldn't be enough as the controllers low voltage limit is 108V

3 would be enough, but it wouldn't fit, and the charger won't go to a high enough voltage

Your BMS/VMS - can it disconnect the charger from the mains? (it can't be disconnected from the battery).

What are the Motor & Controller Specs. for the Vectrix?

The current limit seems to go up with voltage,
when I was running 44 cells, battery current limit was 240A

Low voltage limit on newest firmware is 108V

on older its more like 102V

The wiring for the motor controller and charger are somewhat integrated, disconnecting the charger from the battery may have some odd consequences like the fuel gauge no longer working

So any emergency disconnect (for when the charger software does lock up) must be on the 240/120vac side.
