Cycle Analyst Mount (for Vectrix)

I designed a C.A. Mount for Vectrix: I had it cut with the aid of a lasser on a 2mm stainless steel plate.
The piece is hold on the bolts of the Windscreen.
It looks quite nice.

Now comes the difficult part: the installation of the Shunt...

And a pretty design of the holding brackets, nice and techy but also visually pleasing :-) But the shunt... If I correctly interpret the Sevcon Gen4 controller it already HAS a shunt mounted, but on the battery + pole, not the negative as Grin Technologies prescribe for the CA. I believe this may already have been discussed here somewhere???

That looks Great, far better than my solution

Are you planning on making these mounts and selling them?

If not, can you share how much it cost?

cheers,
Matt

Hi, I can send you the DWG file with the shape. You'll need to find somebody with a computerized cutting laser to cut the piece. ;-)

Sorry about that, This question was for ANTISCAB, I had just come from OATNET'S thread over at ENDLESS-SPHERE.COM about his headway battery conversion and had OATNET on my mind. I would still like to know if he ever got the dwg's for the cyclanilst holder support brackets since I would like to mount one on my vectrix. thanks again COOPER.

Re: Cycle Analyst Mount (for Vectrix)

I don't know if any of you Vectrix folks are thinking of trying to use the handlebar mount for the CA, but if you are, don't bother. The thing was designed for a bicycle, and even with the rubber shims in and the nut tightened as much as is possible, it still rotates down when you go over a series of bumps. I ended up tying mine to the mirror strut on my ZEV to hold it up, using 4mm bungee cord.
