X-treme camber? XB-700Li severely out of alignment

The rear wheel of my XB-700Li tilts a good 5 degrees off vertical. Is this a design feature or a manufacturing defect? No one heavy has ridden on the bike (I am 155 lbs.), and I haven't hit any curbs or large bumps with it. I don't know if it was like this when it was delivered, but I've only taken it out riding three times, so I would suspect so.

In the 2nd and 3rd photos, it looks like the right side of the swingarm is higher then the left
(as you are sitting on the scooter).

If you can remove the wheel, you should be able to see if this is the problem. The swingarms
should be even.

It definitely looks like a bent swing arm to me. I wonder if this could have happened during shipping?

I would be checking both shocks to see if they extend like they should. You could also just measure from their top bolt to bottom bolt to check length.

I'm assuming you've opened up a service ticket with X-Treme, yes?

I know I'm thread digging from the grave, but it looks to me it's because the engine is hanging on one arm, bending the balance arms a bit.
Once the bike is set to it's wheels the tire should be straight.

Heman B., this is an electric scooter with a hub motor, i.e. the motor is the rear wheel, or the rear wheel is the motor. So the motor cannot be hanging on one side, it is in the center of the wheel ;-)

Not really,
THe majority of the engine is on the side, off center.
You can clearly see this from the pictures.
On the right there's only the axis towards the arm, on the left of the wheel there's a big disc, and stuff...

This may be a hybrid scooter as the sticker on the top case implies, so you are probably talking about the IC-engine, not the elctric hub motor in the rear wheel?

Re: X-treme camber? XB-700Li severely out of alignment

It's a standard body of the XB-700Li. It says 'Hybrid' just because it's Chinese, it sounds 'cool', and is meant because it has an electric motor and pedals.

Although it seems to me possible that there has been a mod on the bike, replacing the original wheel, with a new one (probably with stronger motor, like 850W or more, or, the guy swapped the 700w motor for a lower power one, and kept the 700W motor for a mod of his own, and sold off the 700Li with other motor to get rid of a failed experiment.
The 700Li has a different take on the arms. Probably the plastic covers did not fit anymore with the new engine.
