Can anyone help with a UK source and/or part number for the above as my VX1 has failed its MOT due to binding caliper. MW

Well, i guess no one has had to repair/replace this item yet. Mine appears to have suffered from road salt corrosion. I spoke to the UK Brembo dealer who did not know the caliper used on the V but asked for photos, dimensions for piston diameter and mounting bolt centres which are 26mm and 60mm resp. Hopefully he will be able to identify it from that and then supply a repair kit.
There is '7F20x' stamped in to the caliper body and '5382.06' cast in to it. The silver mounting bracket has a cast in number of '22.5490.00''.
Whilst i'm at it, the front wheel bearings have failed - quite common i gather. For future ref they are marked 'SKF EXPLORER 6202-2RS1'. They are 35mm o/s diam, 15mm inside diam and 11mm thick. MW

Therefore - are any of the calipers the same ?
@ofx210p - Maybe, but I would rather just spend £80 on a new caliper than waste any more of my life trawling through that (loooooong) list of possibilities. I came across the same list in my research in the same way - ie looking at the shape of the pad and finding what machines used the same pattern.
If you look up pictures of (usually used) calipers on ebay for the machines listed, some do indeed look identical (ones that are designed to go on the RHS fork, at least). The problem is, that isn't the whole storey as I discovered with the Yamaha YZF where it appears (I never personally confirmed this) that the pistons are 1mm bigger than the Vectrixe's 26mm... and that's assuming you can get a seal kit for the caliper in question in the first place.
Answer? If you are designing a brake system, don't use Brembo brakes!
