I just bought an electric scooter from a local store.
It has 18 inch wheels, weighs about 200 lbs, has a 500w 38A controller, 500w wide angle motor and a 60v 20ah lithium battery that says 600watts on it.
It has great torque, but it can only reach 30 km/h. I need it to reach 40 km/h. I want to upgrade the controller, but I'm not sure what to get.
What controller will maintain its current torque, but increase its top speed?
Do you know if there's a limiter plug on the controller that limits the speed to 30 km/h? I have a different kind of scooter but it had a limiter plug, or governor plug on the out side of the controller. Just took off the plug and the scooter was capable of going 40 km/h on flat ground.

It would be nice if you shared exactly how you resolved your problem for that particular kind of scooter.
Cool! I also want to have one!
