Vectrix VX1 for sale

I've listed my VX1 for sale on eBay UK. I really do need to clear some space and I really don't use the bike enough to warrant keeping it...nice as it is. I have a car, an XJR1300 and an electrically assisted push bike.

As people know from my postings here, the bike has had a few mods done... Bigger fuse, new gearbox bearings and seals, gearbox filler mod and sound deadening etc.

There is nothing wrong with the bike and I was out on it today again. Here's where it is. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221190250363?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

I'm open to a reasonable offer but nothing too daft!

Re: Vectrix VX1 for sale

Is that true about the prices? Were they 7500GBP in 2008 and now they're 9000GBP?

I thought the main reason they didn't sell well in 2008 was the high price, and now they're even more?

When they first came to Australia they were about $17k....then they dropped to $14k. Still a bit over the top for the range they had, I think.

If only they had the technology back then to have Li batteries. Lighter, cheaper (Now) and huge range.
