Re: Does Anyone Have A Copy of ScooterDiag.exe *Version 1*
I am - I have been given to understand that it has many more configuaration options, most importantly to me, the ability to configure the pack size up to 99Ah... But also has a much greater propensity to brick one's V if you don't know what you are doing.

Re: Does Anyone Have A Copy of ScooterDiag.exe *Version 1*
Howdy all, same request as above, or any alternative to my current 2.1 install.
I get the green lights and all looks well apart from the charger stays red, but it also won't install any firmware for me - wants a 'clear algorithm' file before it will advance, which according to the Lairds writings is not a good thing.
I understand that v1.1 is better for firmware but I also see references to a 2012 version - either or both would be appreciated.
Re: Does Anyone Have A Copy of ScooterDiag.exe *Version 1*
n'ermind - got the version from vectrixparts and it works perfectly.
Charger seems to be out for the count though so I've to strip that out and have a look at it next.

I had a charging/battery gauge problem because the temperature sensor boards on mine were damaged and they also prevented the charger from connecting to the diagnostic software.
With both temperature boards disconnected, my charger would connect correctly and I was then able to update to "The Laird's" firmware which overrides the temperature sensors and the charger now works properly.
Re: Does Anyone Have A Copy of ScooterDiag.exe *Version 1*
Cheers for that Bikemad - very useful thread, and certainly similar behaviour to this bike.
I've already got both temp sensor circuits removed, however the front sensor board was totally fried, clearly by some form of overcurrent event, and judging by your photo there's obviously a tendancy towards short circuit in this component.
My concern now is that this control board may have taken the connected portion of the charger with it.
Mobile phone image of the damaged temp board - not particularly clear but enough to validate my concern I expect. ;)

Oldest members here know about the enclosure defect of the front part of the vectrix. Sometimes when it rains, temp warning starts flashing and system refuses to charge. One day of natural air drying solves the problem, but in the end, some board gets fried...
Always cover these boards with plastic bags, to protect them from rain water...
Re: Does Anyone Have A Copy of ScooterDiag.exe *Version 1*
Thanks very much Jim, I'll add that one to the versions I have as well so, certainly seems to be the case that it's worthwhile having a selection of them.
ZZ, that's the version that can be downloaded from vectrixparts - I got that one myself after I couldn't get any joy from 2.1 and it worked a treat yes.
Oh for goodness sake! (sorry about double post!)

Do you need the early version for your bike? The one I got from a VifV link is 2.0, and it worked on my 2007 models.

That's reason enough for me to keep away from it.

I have version 1.0.2.1 and it has been working well for me on my 2006 VX-1. Is that good enough or do you need a specific version?
