I spotted my first Vectrix the other day (apart from mine) on the way home from work. The owner was riding along the A2 (coast bound I think) and I was a passenger in a company van. I didn't realise how cool the rear LED lamp looked - makes it pretty easy to spot a Vectrix from a distance.

One overtook me the other day and I nearly choked. "It's a vectrix!"
Yes, the rear light does look good.
I'm torn between wanting more on the road so that the company keeps going and we can still get support, and loving the exclusivity and just the whole "Isn't this just great and so different" feeling.
On my BMW-C1 I just used to get abuse and ridicule from many. On the V I get wonderment, interest and dare I say respect?

The one I passed was either silver or grey and seeing as I have not seen another Vectrix around these parts, it probably was you. I'll keep a look out - looking at your profile you don't live that far away from my area.
I saw my first Vectrix VX-1 in ages this afternoon. Bluewater shopping centre in Kent has one as a security bike. A silver 2008, HX58 AOE I think it was.
