Firmwares for NiMH Runke charger

Hi everybody. Quite new in this blog.
Does anybody have the firmwares for a NiMH bike with Runke charger? (BCR4000-MCR1021)
I tried to help a friend to upgrade to the Liards stuff in his NiMH. He has apparently a problem with a temp sensor, when temperature is lower to 11ÂșC the bike gives a "no ts" error, and the bike cannot charge.
At first we thought to upgrade to Liards version to see if we could bypass the problem. We tried but we failed, we made a very naive error (I'm not an expert though).
We didn't check the charger version. We thought it was the ESD one, but is a Runke instead.
Unfortunately we don't have the original Runke firmwares installed on the bike, so now we have a nice big doorstop.
Can anybody help us on that?

I have a file EVPS 8010-8.hex It's for Li+ charger, so Runke? PM if you want.

Hi Hybride, thanks for the offering. I already have this one, this is for Lithium, I need a Runke for NiMH (BCR 4000 or similar).

TRY (WWW.VECTRIXSUPPORT.COM) THEY HAVE INFO. FOR ESD AND RUNKE CHARGERS. PH.# (508-212-7236) usa. i found this info. on this forum.

Ok folks,
What I have finally done to solve my mistake is to change the Runke charger (luckily I had an ESD one) and update the bike with Liards firmware. Around 3 tough hours of my life... But now the bike works!!!!!!
I have improved from a 240kg bike doorstop to a 5kg Runke charger doorstop... Much much better. Now I guess I can use Runke charger only for Li Bikes (I have firmwares), but still need BC4000 and MC1021 if I want to use it in NiMH bikes....
Let's see if the error I had before with temp sensors still remains with Liards firmware.... Will tell you soon.

hello Sirmin, did you try to start charging after the ignition? If you can start the bike without problem (red light), so you can plug in 220V with ignition key on and your charge can begin. I can send you the files for the Runke by email.

Hello,
Well after updating to Lairds firmware the Vectrix works.
1 min after leaving the local temp error appeared:

This suggest me the problem is not in the battery pack, but in an ambient temp sensor or something like that. As the owner has the bike to test it, when I meet him again I'll try to find out what's going on with the scooter diag.
Let's see....

If ScooterDiag shows unexpected differences in the temp. readings between sensors, you need to check the sensors.

If you have the bike open, check the resistance of each individual temp sensor with an Ohm meter, with the bike off. Careful - there is lots of electricity to potentially spike you! You can do that without disassembling the battery pack: measure at the end of the wires that come from the pack to the temp. sensor boards. At around 20C the resistance should be around 10kOhm if I recall. Regardless of the actual value, what's important is that none of the individual sensors reads off by more than 1kOhm or so vs. the rest. You will get different readings at different temperatures, but all readings should be close to each other across all sensors. If that is not the case, then you got one or more that are either damaged or contaminated. If they all read well, then the issue might be with the boards reading them.

Do the measurements when the bike has had a long time to cool off the entire battery, so all cells are at the same temperature (otherwise, even small temp. differences might result in skewed readings).

Of course, you may have one or two really bad cells that indeed heat-up disproportionately and fast - to check for that you would need to open-up the packs.
