Wow, let's keep our fingers crossed.

Of course there was a really big IF in there - "if we can deliver these nano particles to the cancer cells and not the other cells"...

Well, is that possible?

WOW is right!

I agree that there is a big IF, but just the fact that this is thought to work IF delivered to the cancer cells is HUGE!
I have no doubt that this could really open some doors and minds.
It's my impression that one of the most difficult things regarding cancer treatment, to date, is isolating the treatement to killing only the cancer cells. It appears that this may just provide that isolation. I have hope that scientists can figure out the delivery portion with the momentum that is likely to stem from successes regarding the rest of this process.

I've definitely got my fingers crossed!

Thanks for the video JDELUNA!

... oh, and the fuel thing is also a WOW ... just shadowed by the rest of the experiments.

Salt water in a ceramic cup, along with a lit candle; place both in your microwave. Same trick?

This is only conjecture but wouldn't the candle just melt and make a mess ... and don't try it with one of those Votive candles with the large metal wick holder on the bottom ... sparks could fly ... :O

One could try it without the candle, but I don't know what would be used as an ignition source. I know a lit candle in the microwave produces a plasma on its own. Not sure about boiling salt water.

I've a spare microwave somewhere around here. Maybe I'll test this next week.
