Friday marked 7 years to the day that I eagerly awaiting delivery of my new Vectrix VX-1, in September 2008.
Technically, the actually birthday is at some point next month as the VIN shows a manufacturing date of October 2007. I found out from recent work I had done that the Ni-MH battery pack was recalled and replaced in January 2008. Apparently it was early days and the factory hadn't got the cell balancing quite right.
Over the years, I've had the centre stand, winter wind-shield, lower seat and painted mirrors fitted.

Yes, I've had my Vectrix since new. I even still have the Vectrix branded leather service wallet which I gather is quite rare these days. Mileage is currently just over 16,000 miles on the original Ni-MH pack.
I don't use it as often as I used to these days as I have use of another bike and a car. Even so, it still gets charged every few weeks and I try to do a discharge to the red light every once in a while.
