Vectrix VX1 for sale - Birmingham, England

Hi there

I have decided to sell my 2008 Vectrix VX1. The battery power has reduced such that I can get 20 miles per charge around the city, which isn't enough for my daily commute. It's therefore ideal for a. new battery installation as a project or b. someone with a smaller daily commute. Apart from that, it's in pretty good condition. It's been serviced from new by Vectrix-appointed dealers.

It's on eBay, with the auction starting tonight 29/06, ending 06/07 20:04.

Any queries please let me know

Hi there
You're right - the bidder who won the auction at £802 sent a message 20 minutes later to say he'd made a mistake and didn't want to pay more than £600. To be honest I'm really keen on moving on, but am also keen to see how the auction goes. If I said that I'd be hoping for £750+ (and the way it's looking tonight I reckon it's going that way) would you be interested at £750 if the auction fails to produce a sale that goes through? It'd be nice to know it was going to a someone who appreciates the Vectrix fully
Cheers Richard

Re: Vectrix VX1 for sale - Birmingham, England

Just yesterday the German Supreme Court ruled that the final ebay bidder MUST complete the purchase as must the one offering sell at the highest price, even though it may be far lower than expected, and that driving up the price yourself via other accounts or via friends/relatives is also prohibited - and heavily fined an offender. I wonder how UK ebay bidders can get away with such a stunt...
