Dugas Engineering software questions

Does anyone know what these settings are for and what they should be?

Re: Dugas Engineering software questions

First is the maximum charging Power. Second the end of charge current, where the charger stop charging. The MC voltages are for driving. Max Bus Voltage is the maximum voltage during braking. The Min Bus Voltage is the minimum voltage during acceleration.

Re: Dugas Engineering software questions

Thanks for that information. but what does this mean? "Second the end of charge current, where the charger stop charging". What determines when the end of charge current activates? I've only seen it charge at full power so far. Are you saying the charging current tapers off as it reaches the shut off/full charge voltage?

Re: Dugas Engineering software questions

This means first the charger is charging with full power and the voltage increase slowly. When it reaches the "full voltage setting" the current decrease slowly to the end of charge current. Then the charger switch of. I hope it is clear now.

Yes. All clear now. Thanks

Cv 1,5A:
The old chargers cannot sustain low current outputs for long periods of time. Below 1,5A they may collapse.
