I have an older 24vt Curry Scoot-E. I havent used it in years and am sure the batteries need to be replaced but the last time I did it would still cut out for a bit and then 10-30 seconds later would come back on. Then it would quit again and so on.
Maybe its overheating? Any ideas? I'd like to have some idea before I spend money on new batts.
Thanks!!!
Jim
Thats standard for a Currie they have a cut off to protect the motor and or the battery. You might replace the battery should take care of the problem. It is a low voltage cut off cant remeber what its set at but as usual its too high I think like 20 volts. Its been while since ive used 24 volts.
Thanks a lot for the reply!
I think it did it when I last replaced that batteries but maybe not. Either way it certainly needs new batteries now. Can I change this low voltage cut out? Is it a discreet component or is integral to the controller?
Thanks again.

Thanks Craig. Certainly makes me more comfortable buying new batteries when I know thats probably the case!
