Rescaling charge gauge

I've got a 2008 VX1 that I've changed over to Lithium using 36 cells in series (two sets for 72 Cells total 20AH pack). I'm still using the original software and it's fine except i'd like to rescale the present indication or read the voltage directly on the dash. There has to be a voltage divider (resistor network) on the board prior to the A/D on the VFD that I should be able to rescale. Has anyone tried this? 36 cells at 4.2V gives me 151.2 volts so it never reads more than 1/2 way on the scale. It's been perfect for my 32 mile commute (16 miles each way.

Hi,
Just upgrade the firmware and you be able to set the pack size.

Re: Rescaling charge gauge

Thanks, I think I tried doing this a year ago but ran into problems. Seems like you had to have an older Windows XP machine or my CANBUS interface didn't work right? Also, I believe I was confused as to which revision of hardware I had. I'll look into the instructions and try again, aren't there a few different versions? Any process or versions you'd recommend? Thanks for the response...

You don't really need to upgrade the firmware, just follow the instructions of this video:

There's a workaround install a virtual machine with Windows Xp.
If don't have the knowledge or patience, ask Vectrix parts shop to do it for you remotely.

It's more or less 50$
