This coming weekend marks the eleventh annual Power of DC held in Haggerstown, Maryland. Saturday is autocross racing and Sunday is a N.E.D.R.A sanctioned drag racing event. I took our stock 2006 Zap Xebra down last year and set the current N.E.D.R.A record for such a vehicle. I plan to attend and hopefully set another record. I would like to invite readers of this forum to attend.

That's tempting - but it's across the country from me - and I'm planning to work on my car this weekend. Maybe you can post a report? (wink wink nudge nudge)

The Power of DC has come and gone for another year. This was the eleventh year for the event. This years event drew participants and vehicles from several states. These included North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, Connecticut, New York, Florida, Texas, and West Virginia. There were two dozen different electric and hybrid vehicles present during the weekend event. These included a pair of Tesla's, a pair of Volts, a Leaf, an electric Smart car, several Porsches, several bikes and motorcycles, and several drag cars. Doc Brown even brought down his electric Deloreon.
On Saturday Motor Week spent the entire day at the autocross event doing a story on the event, not sure when it will air but will post when I find out.
I will write more about the event in a day or so when we get a few videos up on Youtube.
Unfortunately I am not allowed to post new content so I am piggy backing of your post. I hope you don't mind.
I have built a purpose built autocross car. I am in Australia and I enter it in motorkhana, autocross, khanacross and hill climbs. It is great fun.
