Re: Another Vectrix Leaf conversion

Seems like the wrong time of year to get out of a scooter and into a motorcycle. Brrrrrr... I love my winter windshield. Keeps my hands mostly warm in gloves.

Re: Another Vectrix Leaf conversion

The conversion was finished some weeks ago, here some pictures;

An ICL was integrated inside the CA and EMUS current sensor Box, I'll never have to care for a bulb light again!

Final retooling: Emus relay, AC supply to turn on the emus when the vectrix is plugged in (or the NON CAN charger won't start), instant relay with ICL and 2 second delayed relay for the dedicated DCDC that supplies the emus. In order to isolate the emus from the vectrix system, The relays are triggered by 12V from the vectrix glove-box plug, blue-tooth antenna, warning leds....

Programming the emus for the first time!

Checking with a master that all wires are correctly labelled and pinned inside the emus plug.

OMG! it is working!

The android app linked via bluetooth is wonderful!

Re: Another Vectrix Leaf conversion

The story of this vectrix goes on....

3 years later, that old Gen1 has been sold to another vectrix Owner, and it is still kicking inside another vectrix. The emus BMs now rules a friend's house solar system (ironically with other gen1 modules).

Thanks to Iberian Vectrix importer, my Vectrix now has been upgraded to gen 4 in 40S, totalling 16,7 kwh. A BMs gen 4 + 3,3 KW TC charger complete this amazing upgrade.

Real range hangs over 200 km without any effort, and with careful hyper-milling I suspect it can surpass the 300 km mark with one single charge.
90.200 km on the odometer, and it is performing like new!...

ps: On its 11th birthday it was painted to electric blue/black mate

574km.jpeg
Just managed to travel 574 km in one day... 5 hours total charging, split in five plugins along the day, at 2,8 kw.
Total 17 kwh battery+14 kwh recharged, 31 kwh, which allowed me to travel his incredible distance! And still got some range left. Feels like gas...
