Greetings all. I live in New Mexico - have a 2008 VX-1 that has sat for 3 years now due to a dying ni-cad pack. Would like to purchase and convert but need 1. a source for a Leaf conversion kit and 2. some human assistance to supplement my youtube tutorial for the conversion. Anyone have suggestions?

Probably the best bet is to get one of those full packs off eBay, but one that's near by so you can go and pick it up. It's also smart to pair off with someone else who needs batts and sell them the extras. Otherwise there are a lot of people who do this themselves and post them on eBay, they can be anywhere in the country and ship them but you will pay much more, so shop for a good price.
