a question for the forum, my VX1 is still serving me faithfully with Li-cells. But has anyone ever had the case that the fan of the Runke charger stopped running? After many years of faithful service, it now seems to have done so. I ordered a new fan but maybe the problem is also in the charger? The scooter ist still charging but the charger may now get to hot.

Today I looked for the fault and the "ADDA" fan could still be turned by hand, no bearing damage or similar, but it no longer started on a power supply unit. The fan seems to me to have been overdimensioned anyway with 1.8A current on the type plate at 12V. No car engine needs to be cooled. So I replaced it with a new one with 0.3A current. The result was that it runs again and is now heavenly quiet when charging, and the new fan also produces a decent air flow.

I have some old EVPS chargers for scrap here in Barcelona (Eu): with newTC chargers they are no longer needed for replacements), If you ever need spare fan or components , send me private message
Thanks for your info. I will contact you if I need parts for the Runke charger to be send to Germany in future. But I am also interested in a possible solution with a TC Charger. A friend of me has already one still from Vectrix Poland and a big Li pack from CN and we didn't finish his Vx up to now.He ordered this 4 years ago. Are there any instructions on how to adapt a standard TC Charger to the Vectrix firmware or is this and the required firmware a secret? Was the matching firmware already installed on his TC Charger from Poland? We don't know.
