Li-Ion battery pack

Has anyone had experience with an Li-Ion polymer 51.8V 10ah battery pack from Batteryspace.com?
The website says American made and assembled. True? Please share. Thanks

Re: Li-Ion battery pack

I have bought these. I also had the 36V 10ah as well. I had a problem with the first 36 pack I bought and they were able to repair it. They are based in the Bay Area, probably assemble foreign components domestically. All of these packs are sensitive to excessive amps drawn out of the pack. The 51.8 packs seem to work best with no more than 25 amps peak pulled out of them. If you pull too much power out continuously, like on a long climb, the battery pack will be permanently damaged and will not recover. I have been averaging 800 watts, mostly on the flats hitting 25-28mph. These packs are super light weight, but they only have a 300 cycle life.
