I everyone...
I'm searching for a used or damaged vectrix around Europe but it's been quite difficult.
Does anyone knows any reseller or vectrix user that wants to sell his motorcycle and don't ask a very high price?
Any of you wants to sell your vectrix with damaged baterry which the warranty already gone?
Regards
How much can you pay?
Well...no too much...
I already have price for a Vectrix for 4000€ in perfect condition but without warranty...but i don't want to spend that amount of money in a Vectrix that will be "out of warranty" and used...
It depends on too many things:
- where are you from?
- how many mileage does the motorcycle have?
- from which year is it? 2007? 2008?
- color?
- how many packs did the motorcycle had? how many kms ran the last one and the one which is in the Vectrix now?
- problems? which does it had? any controller, motor or recharger problem?
I'm from Portugal...and i have to deal with the transport of the motorcycle too...
Regards
Sorry, selling my V for that low is worthless, I'll donate it to a museum.
It is the first electric motorcycle (not moped) ever sold in Spain. Dam sentimentalism.
Low?? I'd be happy to get $2,000.00 for mine...if I wanted to sell it, which I don't. I paid $5200.00 for it new. $2,000.00 actually isn't bad resale.
uh uh
I wouldn't sell mine for 4000 either ..
It does a good job and I wouldn't be able to improve with that amount.
Here in Belgium it has been snowing severely lately, forcing me to use the car for a couple of weeks.
Now that the snow is gone, It feels absolutely great to get on the V again!

Even if your vectrix is damaged you won't sell it for less than 4000€???
I'm saying damaged...any malfunction with the system ...not a broken/accident bike...
Easiest way to find a faulty or malfunctioning Vectrix is to .....
find a working one then wait a fortnight! Haha
- Sorry couldnt resist lol!
Well, if it was broken in any (severe) way, I'd rather dismantle it and pray on the parts to help other people with Vectrixes and no warranty (perhaps while recovering some of the investment). Bad luck for the museums as well..
If you have an idea of what some of the parts cost, to replace, you'd understand.
You were perhaps hoping to buy a broken/damaged V for the price of say... a charging unit..?
If it's ever the case, anyway, that I'd be parting out the pieces, the people on this forum would be the first to know.

Hi Guys,
We could let you have one for €4000 excl. VAT. It's NEW, in that, it has never been sold. It is a Demo Unit with 112kM on the clock. It's 2007. It has the 2 Year Warranty and the latest 'bells and whistles' software. It's perfect except for 2 minor scuffs.
There's a catch (there always is) it's in Dublin!

Amazing, is the demand that bad that you need to sell at 4000 Euro?
Once you go EV, Gas is history!
Wow, Kingcharles, I get so many people saying they are too expensive; it's quite a shock to be told it is too cheap. I can't win! We took this one into Dublin for the Top Gear Festival in December. It is 2007 and it has 112kM on the clock. It's just a good price and still needs to be shipped.
It is off season but interest in Electric Vehicles generally is increasing here. Over 100 Nissan Leaf's will arrive here next month to fill existing orders. Installation of the Charging Infrastructue is gathering momentum. The demand for Vectrix should also increase this year.
Kingcharles, any chance of a good photo of your V charging at that Coulomb station?

Hi, Im in Belfast and am interested in electric bikes, currently I ride a ducati monster and works out about 13 p a mile. lol I use bike mainly for local transport and collecting/delivering laptop computers to my work so perhaps electric would be the way to go.. for work anyway..
I see you are in Dublin, pity Im not working down there now or Id come and see it... Did you sell many of them new?
To djkus,
Welcome to V is for Voltage.
There is already, at least one, Vectrix Owner in Belfast (Des Gilmore) and he is a regular contributor to this forum. It now seems as if the above pictured Vectrix is also going to Belfast.
We, MCC Controls, also have a facility in Belfast at Belfast Harbour Industrial Estate which we hope to develop into a sales and service centre for Northern Ireland.
It wouldn't be correct to continue with a selling message here on the forum, so, I will send you on a private message.

Well if you run out of luck finding a European bike to buy I would sell my US Nashville Tennessee Vectrix in perfect running order with 5000 miles on it for $3000 US. I have no clue what it would cost you to ship the beast.
I dropped some on Flickr
I hope you like some

Thanks for photos. May I download them? Is that canopy option located at Schipol Airport?
Your V looks very good! Cool colour! I haven't seen those accessories before; is it a seat cover and hand protector?
I still haven't sold the burgundy Vectrix even with the low price.

We're so retarded! :-)
Have you ever seen any other electric vehicles charging at those stations?
greetings

In addition to Vectrix we are also the distributor in Ireland for the Coulomb ChargePoint and the Aker Wade DC Fast Charger. We are involved with the roll out of the infrastructure in Ireland. There are 3 Coulomb ChargePoints located in Belgium at Agoralaan, Diepenbeek, Belgium. If you go to www.mychargepoint.eu you can see them. In fact, there is a vehicle plugged in there at this moment.
Let me know if you want more information.
Best wishes / Joe

Tesla's, Think's, Tazzari Zero's and small electric mopeds. Never another Vectrix yet :-(
Amsterdam is slowly converted to electric transport.
We even had the first all electric car accident here recently :-)

Sure you can use them, if downloading does not work than I can send you the files, just PM me with you e-mail address.
When I bought the bike I had no choice in colour, it was the last bike from leftover Sept. 2007 stock that I bought in Dec. 2009. I thought at the time I made a good deal (bike, delivery and accessories for 8300 Euro), but I should have waited a few months...
Those accessories are the original Vectrix handlebar muffs and thermoscud and I think I might also have the last stock of those! They keep me nice and comfortable in the cold temperatures over here. Lowest temperature I have used the bike is -14C, and hands and body were fine even at motorway speed :-)
The Schiphol Airport charge point could be from a different manufacturer. It has a different socket and no card reader (open for anyone to plug in!)

Thanks for the info.. I had no idea!
but ONE charging point somewhere far away..
DOZENS in Amsterdam...
see my point? :-)
Anyway, I wouldn't need the charging points, I'm never far away from my solar panels to charge my baby..

Hello every body, (any body?)
I'm looking for a BMS See Photo.
The one I already have comes from a Li-ion version, 180 Km range. 10 pieces were made for France. In 2017-2018. I can buy the whole scooter.
Thank you.
