Maximum voltage limit on DC-DC converter for XM-3000

What's the maximum input voltage limit for the stock DC-DC converter in an XM-3000?
I'm considering upgrading to a 72VDC Lithium pack, but leaving the DC power tap for the converter where it is would imbalance the pack relative to the additional battery I will be placing in series with the others for 72V.

I've got an XB600, and since I'm on my third DC-DC converter, I would not expect that they are designed with a 50% overvoltage tolerance.

Getting 12 volts out of a pack is a common problem; if you're going into the overvoltage world, investigate what others have done to get a 12V bus going...

72vdc is about where you average universal AC in, 13.8vdc out switch mode powersupply will work straight from the battery.
