Now the cycle analist has an enclosed Large screen version and optional data logger.

I also have one fitted it is the earlier design however Its good to see the total ah used as this gives a good indication of your range the meter also shows battery pack voltage and amps been drawn as well as power output in kilowatts etc

That's going to cause a LOT of pain.
Unless you mean "cycle analyst."

Re: Cycle analist for Vectrix

I use the 200V cycle analyst version on my Vectrix.

on mine it was a necessity as I no longer have an original charger (no fuel guage)

handy piece of kit.

That new large display version does not appear to be ready for sale, at least not till Nov?

Re: Cycle analist for Vectrix

Matt, in the web says:
As of Dec 2010, we now have an enclosure available for the large screen Cycle Analyst. Further info and updates to this website will be prepared in January.

Really looks interesting for may Vectrix.

Re: Cycle analist for Vectrix

Hi,

I want to buy now the new Version of the cycle analyst but there are some questions for me.
I want to use the output from the hall sensor in the controller for the battery current if possible. I know that it provides up to - 4,x V for the drawn current, -4V f. e. for 200A. With regen up to + 2,5V for 125A.
Should be possible to adapt it instead of a shunt to the input of the cycle analyst ?
My second question, is the cycle analyst in the 200V option directly feeded by the Vectric battery or is there a lower voltage for it needed ?
Third thing is that the cycle anylyst provides a speed limiting function or current limiting function together with hall sensor throttles.
May speed limiting with the Vectrix sensor be possible ?

regards

you will have to scale the voltage input to the cycle analyst.
the limits are -200mV and 200mV

the 100A 75mV shunt I recommend give reading limits of -266A and 266A

My second question, is the cycle analyst in the 200V option directly feeded by the Vectric battery or is there a lower voltage for it needed ?

takes 200v directly (can actually take more than that, but voltage reading limit is 200V)

Third thing is that the cycle anylyst provides a speed limiting function or current limiting function together with hall sensor throttles.

No - the speed limit function (like the current limit function) relies on you putting the 0-5V control line from a hall throttle through the cycle analyst.

You don't have access to either of the control lines in the Vectrix throttle.

Hi Matt,

thanks for your quick answers again.
You do have an extra shunt ? With 0,25 mOhms or more ?
