Trying to find a replacement bulb for my EBike 36 volt.Bulb holder and bulb state 12 volt 35 watt.Voltage measures at headlight battery voltage. It was 36 volts(old battery)So is it a 12 volt bulb or what?

Voltage measures at headlight battery voltage should be your light bulb voltage.If it is 36V,somebody put a 12V light bulb will burn out quick. Manufacture are very slopy. Some bike have convertor to convert 36V to 12V for light and horn system. So the measurement of the light voltage is the acurate way to tell the real voltage of the light bulb.
