Data Logging on C1x

David posted this in another thread:

If you just want to log the diag. stream, checkout this little unit, plug it into the BCU, and you will get a log on a microSD card that you can read from your computer later.

I wanted to call it out in its own thread for a couple of reasons:

1) This is the exact same logger we use - so I can highly recommend it. One word of caution - you'll either have to fashion a new BCU cover or not log data in the rain (or when the roads are wet). You don't want to get water in the BCU.
2) If you start logging data please, please, please consider sharing it with us (please).
3) If you start logging data I can give you a spreadsheet that parses the data and makes it easy to create graphs etc.

If you want the spreadsheet email me (those with a bike know my address!) - at which point I will send you the spreadsheet and plead for your data (I'll set up an easy location to copy it to). The more real-world data we get from the widest base of people the more we can learn.

Thanks!

The main purpose of my logging was to provide you with the data. It just seemed like a good test pilot-y thing to do.
