Yes, that's my understanding (I don't actually own a Vectrix, these cells are left over from an EV project). The cells are designed for high-C discharge rates (they can dip to 2.0v per cell which is rare for LiFEPO4 cells) and are quite thin. It's pretty clear they were designed for a narrow application like a scooter / motorcycle.
Here are the datasheets for the different cells (straight from EBTech, a division of Gold-Peak, which manufactures all the batteries for Vectrix):
Hi,
Anyone in the UK got any spare, good cells as I am about to do a pack re-build. Range down to 20 miles now in my 2008 Vectrix.
I'm near Hertford, Herts.

Is anyone still looking for Vectrix cells?
I have access to GP30EVLF (LiFEPO4) cells and GP45EVLF (LiFEPO4) cells.
I have 80 of the GP45 LiFEPO4 cells (only have ~10 cycles on them), 78 of the GP30 LiFEPO4 cells (have about 500 cycles on them)
Is anyone interested in them?
Are these the cells used in the current Vectrix VX-1 Li and Li+?

I can provide pictures and measurements of the cells if anyone is interested.
Now I have Some spare NIMH cells in Barcelona (Europe). Anyone interested?
