48V controller wire indentifiation

Hi,

could anyone help me with this...

I have bought 48V 500W controller for my motor from ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/48V-500W-Brushed-Speed-Controller-Electric-Bikes-/400197439866?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Radio_Controlled_Vehicles&...

The thing is that don't give you any schematics for connecting controller and there is no wire identifications.

I would like to control my motor with pot ( and after that I would like to connecting it to my avr uC, but that is future) and I don't know which wires and how to connect it to pot.

Could anyone help with this, has anyone bought this item maybe.

The throttles connection often has 3 wires. +5v, ground, and a return value that govens the speed.
It looks like its nearest to us on the right on that photo

Tnx for reply.

How could I test this, because from what I have read I could easily destroy my controller.
