Re: Is a 6 AMP Battery Charger 6 AMP Total Or Per Bank?
With most chargers, and DC circuits in general, you can reduce the equation to a very basic equation. In the simplest terms, one charger, and one battery. A six amp charger can deliver a maximum of 6Amps to a battery. If you attach two batteries in parallel, and they are equally discharged, the charger can still only provide 6amps total. Each battery could only take a portion of that six. Count on average 3 amps with 2 batteries, and longer charge time, since less current is available.
