I am a new member here and new to BEV's the site seems pretty interesting so far.
Anyway I just picked up a currie Scoot-e from craigslist for $40 I put a new pair of 12v 9ah AGM batteries and the thing runs great. Until the trottle stopped working. Upon further inspection and disassembly the small brass shaft that connects the thumb throttle to the 5k ohm switch sheared. Would anyone know where to get one? I have it rigged with a pen cap in the potentiometer and it still functions properly. The other question would be does anyone know where to get new spokes for the rims? It appears that they have stretched out over it's 10 year life span.
