The Green Flight Challenge Expo is a showing of electric airplanes. They're currently on display in Sonoma County, and will be at Moffet Field on Monday.
There's a lot of interest in electric airplanes. Most of the pictures I've seen were smallish single-seaters, with short flight duration. But as batteries improve we can expect this to get better.
