I developed a kite based spinning trampoline generator

you say a what?

I know odd, sorry, but worth a look kite turbine

Any how, Now that your interested, have a go make one yourself. I have a load of improvements to make.... but it's promising.

Tie a few hundred together with belt drives and lifter kites, then you'll get the idea where I'm planing on taking this....

Before I get that nuts though... Can anyone recommend a good (motorbike hub) hub with strong thrust bearings and a generator set?
I've been looking at the canadian golden hub generators... will it take the side force if I stick it on one of these?

Probably going to have to make a custom test rig a bit like this...http://sites.google.com/site/kitepowerresearch/project-updates/newmountsketch

Hope that was fun
